I am very saddened to learn of the passing of this legendary mountaineer. It was my first trip to Horseshoe Hell. I saw these two amazing climbers who were like machines. I followed them around having no idea until the next day who they were. They were very humble and made no mention of being pro alpine climbers… turns out it was Hayden Kennedy and Chris Thomas. They broke the record that year for most climbs by a team with a count of like 404. You were an inspiring soul, gone too soon.
