Trump on 12 November 2013 launched a legal challenge in Edinburgh to a planned offshore wind farm, which he says will spoil the view from his luxury coastal golf resort. In March, the Scottish government granted approval for the 11-turbine wind farm in Aberdeen Bay, off the north-east coast of Scotland. Trump International Golf Links and The Trump Organisation are asking the Court of Session to declare the decision illegal, as well as challenging a decision not to hold a public inquiry into the wind farm.
