Today is the 365th day of my year of daily miniature painting and posting! Its been a challenging exercise in creative discipline for me both in productivity and social media exposure. Connecting with all of you has been such a positive experience. Your support and comments have been a huge part of this year. Thank you!! The year is up but I am not done. Some announcements… You may have noticed this final mini is an ultrasound. @jrothshank and I are expecting a baby in January! We are very excited to meet this new addition. I expect the balance of life in 2016 to lean toward a slower family pace. We have several exciting art plans for the coming year. The annual #michianapotterytour is next weekend! We are one of 7 studio stops on the tour and would love to see you! There will be plenty of pottery and several new minis available for sale. Justin and I will be having a joint show @blufftonuniversity in October. The show is titled, Instruments of Peace. I will be showing 50 framed minis and Justin will have some corresponding pots. Look for several other exhibitions of my work in 2016, including shows @penlandgallery and @ferrincontemporary. I will also be teaching a 2-week miniature painting course @penlandschool during the summer of 2016. More details to come. Thank you again for a wonderful year. I look forward to the possibility of another daily project for 2017. In the mean time I will be posting process shots for upcoming shows, new work as it emerges and images from along the way. If you are able to stop in at any of our events make sure to say hello!
