Lauren Sesselmann es reconocida en el mundo del futbol por su grandiosa habilidad como defensa, pero gracias a su espectacular figura y su encantador rostro conquistó a más fanáticos.

Sesselmann, de 33 años, nació en Marshfield, Wisconsin, pero decidió jugar por Canadá gracias a su padre.

A lo largo de su trayectoria ha jugado Sky Blue F.C. y Huston Dash. Ganó en Londres 2012 la medalla de bronce y participó en la Copa del Mundo de 2015.

Still one of my all time favorite shots…Although it’s hard to be graceful while doing tricks (those arms though?) this is me in my element, flying thru the air with the sun shining and a ball at my feet. Soccer, you have & continue to bring me so much joy…I am thankful everyday I get to do what I LOVE!! Woke up this morning excited and ready to take on the day!!Sometimes with injuries or setbacks it’s hard to get motivated because of the repetitive rehab process and the sadness that you can’t be out on the field with your teammates. I won’t lie these past few weeks have been a struggle, but then I remember my why and my purpose…Im here to inspire others and I can’t let them down, I’m here to get better so I can fight and be a part of a legacy, a shot a winning another medal or championship, and so that I can make my family and myself proud. We ALL struggle, and just because I’m not currently playing doesn’t mean I’m not working hard. Today was a recovery day…So I slept in an extra hour, made my eggs and pancakes and went for a walk and stretch…and later today will get in the pool for a bit of cardio. Keep working hard no matter what your circumstance and limitations are.
